Ridiculous Bills Newsom Signed

  *Deep breath* Governor Gavin Newsom is on a roll. Just when you think you’ve seen it all, he signs ANOTHER outrageous bill. I’m literally beginning to lose track, which means you probably are too! This is why I decided to take it upon myself to write this list of bills both passed and that Newsom intends to pass this year. Here we go, prepare to lose some brain cells!

SB 276 (Signed) - Despite thousands of protesters at the capital, Newsom signed SB 276 stating vaccine exemptions would have to be reviewed by the state before being issued by doctors. This means thousands of kids are being kicked out of school who were vaccine injured and now unable to get exemptions even though their parents are paying taxes and they have the right to an education. Doctors are also only allowed to give out a certain number of exemptions a year and could lose their medical license if they violate this, potentially facing jail time. Schools also will require proof of immunization status of children which is a violation of HIPPA and their right to privacy.

SB 262 (Intending To Sign) - The Health Department is allowed in cases of an outbreak (which is 3 or more people according to the CDC) to literally go into your home, quarantine, isolate, and disinfect you, your children, and animals. It will allow them to forcibly inject you, destroy any objects or animals in your home, and take whatever measures necessary to to prevent “the spread of disease”.

SB 24 (Signed) - Abortion pills are now to be made available on college campuses by law because murdering your baby has never been more convenient.

SB 61 (Signed) -  Prohibition on the purchase or transfer of more than one firearm within a 30 day period.

AB 61 (Signed) - Educators, employers, and co-workers can now file a Gun Violence Restraining Order to temporarily (1 to 5 years) take away someone’s firearms if they pose a danger. Police and family can already do this.

SB 225 (Signed) - Undocumented immigrants and other non-citizens will be allowed to serve on state boards and commissions.

SB 328 (Signed) - This bill bars schools from opening before 8am. Good luck to all you working parents! Hope you make it to your job on time!

SB 132 (Intending To Sign) - This bill allows transgenders in prison to be housed by the sex they identify as rather than their biological sex.

SB 104 (Signed) - Free health care benefits will be granted to illegal immigrants between the ages of 0 and 25.

AB 291 (Signed) - Prohibits law enforcement from asking someone’s immigration status unless they’ve been convicted of a crime and also prohibits landlords from reporting illegal renters.

AB 424 (Signed) - Schools will no longer be able to decide if they are gun free zones. Concealed carry is also no longer permitted by administrators. Who is allowed to have a gun? The crazy kid that sneaks it in to murder everyone when he finds out about this law, and also the cop you’ll have to call when it happens.

AB 2119 (Signed) - You no longer need to be medically evaluated by a physician to decide what gender you want to be on your license. With this new law you can be whatever you want! Male, female, or nonbinary with no hassle.

SB 880 (Signed) - The bullet button ban has basically made it illegal to own AR-15’s and AK-47’s in California because they have decided that any rifle with a bullet button is classified as an assault weapon. Yay gun confiscation...

AB 857 - (Signed) - Even if you are manufacturing your own gun, you must now register it and obtain a serial number because how else will the government be able to confiscate your weapon if you aren’t registered?

SB 1322 (Signed) - This law says it is illegal for police to arrest sex workers under the age of 18 because who wants to leave discretion up to judges for trafficking victims when you can just legalize child prostitution for everybody! Instagram just got a whole lot sketchier.

Prop 57 (Signed) - Early release for non-violent criminals wouldn’t be a big deal if these non-violent offenses didn’t include rape of an unconscious person, human trafficking , sex acts with minors, and assault with a deadly weapon.

And there it is folks! If you were looking for a reason to leave Gotham, I mean California, this is your sign from God. I left in May and it was the best thing I ever did. Very sad to see my home state be destroyed from the inside, but this is what happens when you allow Democrats into office. That said, if you do plan to stay and fight against this craziness, you can sign petitions at your local county to recall Gavin Newsom! The online petitions don’t work, it has to be in person.
